Today my dad took a run down to b&q with me to get wood sorted for the stand.. i found a fairly good match of colour under 'cherry wood' i then spent a couple of hours reparing and cleaning the stand...

old uprights..

work in progress!

doors ready to go on..

screwed in and fitted..

sitting in all its glory ready to be set up once i get all the pieces together Laughing ...

quite proud of that for a 16 year old Laughing

The tropheus in the smaller tank may do better in the bigger tank...they can be really aggressive as mature fish, especially in smaller groups.

I have two tanks at the moment Conor - although one of them is technically only running due to an 'emergency' at work with a couple of little fish...
I finally stripped and cleaned my nano yesterday, it'd been empty and switched off for about a month without much natural light but contained some amazingly healthy java fern and moss and absolutely no algae...
It'll be a looong time before I consider keeping mbuna. Partly because they cost...partly because I can think of so many other fish I'd like... Wink

I think it's a 16l tank though it holds about 13l once it has substrate and decor in it.
I bought it because it was glass and had a neat trickle filter in the hood. It was a qt tank originally and then gradually became a nano setup for various breeding pairs and small fish and shrimp as I collected more tanks. Rolling Eyes
