This tank houses a group of just one species of bichir, and is wider (front-to-back) than it is high - like several of my tanks.
This is because the floor space area is more important and useful to bottom dwellers like Polypterus, catfish, etc.
This tank has a Fluval 304 filter on which the pump failed, so now I make use of the canister by forcing water through it
with a powerhead in the tank. The powerhead has a prefilter cartridge, so the canister hardly ever needs opening to clean.
